BIKES

 

Our current collection of off-road training bikes were purchased in 2007.  The bikes we use include Honda CRF230F & Yamaha TTR125el.  Bikes supplied by Colin Appleyard Motorcycles, Yorkshire and BCG Bikes, Galashiels.

TRACK

Track sites are one of the most fundamental aspects to the running of our project.  We are currently in a very fortunate position as we have 3 track sites, 2 of which are local to us in East Lothian and 1 in the Borders.  This year saw some development and redesign at all 3 tracks to maximise usability and safety of the tracks.  We are grateful for the donation given by the Meinhoff Motorcycle Club of £200 which went towards the hire of diggers. 

A recent 2007 ACU track inspection was a great success, not only did we get some helpful tips and idea's to make our track sites better, but they were very impressed with the layout and safety precautions we have already put in place. 

We are also extremely grateful to Garth and Chris Morrson at West Fenton, Robert Dale at Loch Houses, and Anne & Mick Wright at Pirnie Farm for their continuing support and help they have given us over the past few years.
