Young people are generally referred for 1-2-1 placement's through various local authority departments, however the Project welcomes referrals from other youth based agencies.

The placement's are set up to focus on the young persons needs where they are supported to work towards relevant aims and objectives.

Typical objectives:

• improve timekeeping
• support re-integration into mainstream education
• supporting with personal difficulties
• broadening interests
• building confidence and self-esteem
• introducing mechancial skills and knowledge

The placement sessions are normally one morning or afternoon per week for an initial 10 week period, and include a combination of off-road training sessions, practical activities and other social activities that interest the young person.
