Induction and Becoming a Member

Before a young person can become a full member of the Motorcycle Project's Club they must first complete this application form. Applicants must be aged between 12 and 16 before they can attend. Once they reach the top of the waiting list they will be invited to attend an Induction process (4 introductory sessions plus 2 off-road sessions), where they will be given the opportunity to meet other young people and Project staff, and sample what goes on at the Project's Clubs.

Once they have completed the Induction process, they will then be given the opportunity to become a full club member, where they will be able to sign up for structured Workshop Programmes and Off-road riding sessions along with the other Club members.

The Project currently charges each Club member £5.00 for each off-road session, as well as a £20 membership fee when joining (after the Induction process). The Project reserves the right to deny participation to anyone who does not agree to abide by the Project's guidelines. Occasionally the Project will take photographs or video footage of participants to present as mementos and for Riding Certificates, and on occasion to publicise the Motorcycle Project through the media.

All safety equipment is provided for off-road sessions, such as: Helmets, Boots, Trousers, Pads, Gloves, Goggles, Padded Jackets/Body Armour.
